I have had the opportunity in my 35 years in the mineral exploration and mining industry in
Newfoundland and Labrador to work closely with Eastern Analytical. During my involvement
with the exploration, development and production days and finally closure of the Hammerdown
Gold Mine we consistently used the EAL facilities for all assays. At the end of the day the
difference between the resource estimated ounces based on EAL assays in the Hammerdown
deposit and total ounces mined was less than 10%. You can’t get any better than that for
reliability. With an ISO certification EAL is truly an analytical facility that a geologist can be
confident in.
